It is here that we will do our very best to document the process of creating our family. We hope you'll stick out the journey with us. We're going to need all the support we can get.

Welcome to the World

First up and making an appearance this week is Adam Chane of the Chane gang, Paolo Alto, CA. Adam is the brother of our Godson Eli and the pride and joy of our good friends Peter and Lena Chane.

Next we have an unexpected appearance of Lucy Maya. Lucy was due in mid-April but was so looking forward to being here with her two new dads that she came oh about 7 weeks early.

We couldn't be happier for Glenn and Adam. We're releived that the paper signing went well this past weekend.

Who knows, maybe Adam and Lucy may get to meet each other one day???? Mazel Tov. We are both so happy for all of you (and a little jealous but our time will come). We love you.

It's a roller coaster ride of a lifetime

It's taken me two weeks to post this. I'm just figuring out now how we deal with the disappointment of not being pregnant. Writing about it right away, apparently is not one of my outlets.

It is wild ride this surrogacy thing. We're fortunate though in that we have the most wonderful surrogate who we can laugh and joke with to make the rough parts that much easier.

We did get some happy news in other areas; our friends are in the midst of adopting a little girl. G-d willing, everything will sail through this weekend with the paperwork and finer details. Tom and I wish them the very best and look forward to hearing the good news.

For us in the meantime we'll focus on taking care of our first baby and gearing up for the next round.

Thanks for all the good wishes and comments folks. Your caring and support is very much appreciated.
