Fabulous Forty and Fine

The picture is from my fortieth birthday party on the 15th. It's my new favorite of Tom and I. We had a blast that night surrounded by all of our friends, some family and colleagues from school and work.

We're in limbo right now as we wait for the lawyer to finish the first draft of the contract. We've been waiting for two weeks now and it's a bit annoying. However, I guess the waiting part is a good lesson for us. T. is getting ansy as well. She wants to get pregnant already so that she can give birth next summer and not have to miss any school. We'd like that too.

It's all very interesting right now. And, truth is that the waiting is the hardest part.
