Third time's a charm

I haven't spent much time on the computer the past few weeks. School came to a halt 0on the 8th of December. That last week was grueling. It felt like I was living at my computer with all of the final papers that I had to finish. Of course, like a good graduate student I waited till the last minute to do them.
After a much deserved and needed break I am back to school this week as well as starting my practicum. Needless to say, this is going to be a bit long.
All that aside, you're probably wondering "What about the baby??? Are you pregnant yet?" At least those are the questions I'm getting when we run into people these days. It's been kind of cute, a friend from school runs her hand across her belly from across the room with that curious look on her face, wondering.
Well, unfortunately no we're not pregnant yet (here are the details you've all been dying for). We tried again in the middle of December and it didn't take. Once again we were disappointed but getting better at managing our emotions around it.
T. emailed to let us know that her chart was indicating that the 14th was going to be the best day and that we should coordinate our schedules for our second insemination attempt. We arranged for Tom and I to drive down and meet at a hotel off of I-5 in Kelso. We were much more relaxed this time around.
At our first insemination we were still getting to know eachother, still getting comfortable around something so intimate. It was powerful and, I have to admit, fun. I had made a Baked Ziti and a salad for dinner and put out a bottle of wine. I was so embarrassed when either T. or Tom pointed out that the wine was called ménage à trois. Yep, I thought I was going to die. Instead of being a ridiculously awkward moment, we all laughed through it.At our second round, we rented a hotel room and, agreed that one room would be fine. After Tom and I finished doing our part with the cup, we would call T. on her cell and she would come to the room and do her part.
Things went smoothly except for the fact that T. ran to the store to pick something up. We got a good laugh out of that one. The next night T. came up to Seattle since we wanted to do as many inseminations this round as possible. The three of us went out to one of Tom's and my favorite places 1200 Bistro. We had a fantastic meal went home and, well you get the general idea.
It's funny this weekend Tom and I went out and ran into some friends who were asking about the blog and have been checking to see what's been up. I was saying that I need to make an entry and figure out what exactly I'm going to tell the internet this time. Blogging is definitely odd in its own way.
I'll end here for now. I've got some more to post but will do it later or another time. Don't forget to leave a comment or two and let us know that you were here.
Happy New Year!!!
